The office is situated just a few minutes away from the city centre of Coventry surrounded by useful amenities, shops and restaurants. It is also very close to The Ricoh Arena shopping centre. In terms of transport, the area is easy to reach by car and public transport. The bus stop is only a few meters away, while the Ricoh railway station is within a short walk of the Desai House building. There is also a car park in front and rear area of the property and the office building further benefits from the disabled access and strong security with 24-hour CCTVs. The office building houses conference room, Training rooms and a small meeting room to use for visitors and visiting staff as required. The conference and Training rooms are where we conduct our in-house training or staff meetings. There is a kitchen area where staff can make drinks and basic snacks and toilets are located both 1st floor and on the ground floor and have disabled access.
The office is on the 1st floor of the building which is accessible by staircase. To access the office, one has to buzz at the front door and identify themselves before the door is unlocked remotely. The conference room on the ground floor is where we utilise meetings and interviews for the disabled since the building has not lift. There is a suitable number of desks available for staff to use and they have access to computers, photocopiers, shredder, printers, internet and other office supplies. There is also secure filling cabinets to store confidential information. Service users and staff files are kept at minimal of 3 locked doors safety. Fire Exits and signage are clear and readable which can be seen along the hallway of the building. There are security and fire alarms installed and fire extinguishers are prominently located throughout and tested monthly. The fire tests drills are run once every week by the Fire Marshalls. Fortunate Felix Marufu is the Director of Flexi Coventry Limited. Felix has been working at Director level since 2005 and has successfully managed a number of care agencies until Flexi was founded in 2012. Felix is 19 years post graduate qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an Hon Degree. He is Qualified as Train the Trainer and assist with inhouse training and induction for new starters. Felix also holds an NVQ Level 7 Diploma certificate in management Health and Social Care. Loreen R C Marufu is the Registered Manager of Flexi Coventry Limited. Loreen was appointed registered manager in 2012 and has held the position since then. Loreen is a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with 18 years post graduate experience on the field. Loreen is also the Responsible person for Flexi. Loreen is also qualified as an inhouse trainer and holds NVQ Level 5 management. Loreen also holds an Hon Degree in Nursing. Laurie Forster is our Quality Assurance Manager making sure the quality of care being delivered by Flexi staff is always the best it can be. Laurie also supports our families and making sure they are up to date with what our aims and objectives are. Laurie comes with 35 years post graduate Mental health and counselling experience. Jesman Muzemba is the deputy manager responsible for day-to-day smooth run of shifts and staff support. Jesman is near completion of her NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Management in Health and Social Care. Jesman comes with 15 years’ experience on the care industry at senior and team leader level. Flexi has a senior staff on each service user care package, and they are all well trained and NVQ minimal Level 3 and working for higher qualifications. All Flexi staff are complex trained and assessed on the job with competencies completed by a senior management team member. |
